SLC Chosen for Charity Challenge

2015 Website Banner smChelsea – January 5th marked the beginning of the 4th Annual Infiniti Coaches’ Charity Challenge, and University of Michigan Men’s Basketball Coach John Beilein has chosen St. Louis Center in Chelsea, MI as his favorite non-profit organization. Forty-eight NCAA Division I men’s basketball coaches will compete through an online contest, fueled by fan support, for the chance to win $100,000 for their chosen charity. Four elimination rounds will determine the final winner who will be announced on March 15, 2015.
According to Fr. Enzo Addari, SdC., “Coach Beilein and his wife Kathleen have been very generous to St. Louis Center, and we are honored to have been chosen once again for this contest. Their support of our residents with developmental disabilities is also a strong testament to their faith, and we hope the community will support them through this contest.”
This online contest relies on daily voting to help your favorite coach and charity advance to each round. St. Louis Center has established the website to immediately direct UM fans and St. Louis Center supporters to the ESPN website to vote. An email address and password is required as a personal login for voting. Coach Beilein made it to the 3rd Round in 2014.
